During this project we were supposed to research about the Syrian Revolution. We learned that Syria is currently is under attack by ISIS. ISIS is an egyptian religion, they are bombing people homes. Rebellions against ISIS are trying to stop them by spray painting walls. We also learned about natural rights, natural rights are the rights of a persons life, liberty, and property or pursuit of happiness. According to philosophers John Locke & Thomas Jefferson that if your natural rights were violated by the government you can technically rebel against them. On the other hand Thomas Hobbes believed that everyone should submit to their ruler or governor and basically go with the flow otherwise the government might get out of control with rebellions. The one thing most difficult about this project to me had to be the power point. I dont really know why this was more difficult than the the revolution letter, but I mostly think it was because I was absent for the first 3 days of the assignment. Things I did to try to understand the content more was I would ask my group mates for help from my teachers. I would come for help after school for a better understanding. I requested extra workshops so that i could clearly get my information needed. I never emailed teachers for help because I never really thought about it. In this experience I learned more Agency and Collaboration because half of this project was a group thing and I feel like I put my differences to the side and stayed professional, and I put in my fair share of work in the group. I feel like I still need to work on my Written Communication because sometimes I don’t know how to exactly word things.
